Format

All regular lossless (uncompressed) file formats are accepted. We recommend at least 24 bits resolution in either WAV or AIFF format, even if you recorded your music in 16 bits. Leave the sample rate (e.g. 48 khz) the way you recorded. If you have not recorded yet, aim for at least 48 khz.

Tracks

We prefer that you bounce / export each track of the song from start to finish so that all tracks are equal in length, or at least start at the same point. This way you can be sure everything fits perfectly the way you recorded it and / or intended it to be.

Giving the exported files descriptive names would make our work a bit easier. For example:

acoustic_guitar.wav
bass.wav
electric_guitar_1.wav
electric_guitar_2.wav
electric_guitar_solo.wav
vocals.wav
... and so on.

Make sure that no clipping occurs (volume going above 0 db) on any of the tracks at playback.

Effects

If there are any specific effects you want for some parts of the song, we prefer you leave them out of the exported tracks and let us add them for you. Just let us know the specifics so we can help you get what you want.

Sessions

Currently, we do not accept session files from Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic, etc. Only bounced tracks in lossless audio files.
